2008 SPRING EVENT RECAP

The Ohio State
Alumni Club of
Greater Kansas City
would like to thank
everyone who turned
out for the 2008
Spring Event.
We would also like
to thank Ohio State
Athletic Director
Gene Smith for
taking time out of
his busy schedule to
spend and evening
with us.
The evening began with a social hour |

for club members and
guests followed by a
wonderful four
course dinner.

evening was Gene
Smith addressing the
club with
stories from his
youth in Cleveland
to stops at Notre
Dame,

Michigan,
Iowa State,
Arizona
State, and
eventually
Ohio State!
The evening concluded with Gene drawing raffle ticket winners for prizes
that included two
tickets to the Ohio
State September 6th
game against Ohio
University
and a
football
autographed
by Archie
Griffin.
The surprise
of the
evening came
when Gene
asked that
one more
ticket
be drawn for
two tickets
to
this year's |
